Although lavender ice cream may not be at your local ice cream shop yet, it’s gaining popularity in cities and even smaller towns across the United States. Here are four places to find some delicious lavender ice cream.

4. Lavender Vanilla, Isabella’s, Tucson, AZ

Isabella’s is a charming ice cream shop that carries a variety of interesting flavors alongside more traditional ones. Although this wasn’t the strongest lavender I’ve sampled, it’s very enjoyable, and the store is adorable!

3. Lavender Vanilla, Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream, Orlando, FL

This was the strongest lavender I’ve had. It’s a prominent lavender alongside a nice vanilla. I recommend this flavor in small doses, but it’s very fun.

2. Bee’s Knees, Beth Marie’s, Denton, TX

I loved this, finding it “gentle and buttery and lovely”. I think you will too!

1. Lavender & Honey, Jordan’s Creamery, Belmont, NH

Unfortunately this isn’t yet a regular flavor at Jordan’s. It was a part of one of their monthly samplers, which involve purchasing a paddle and then showing up monthly for four samples of their latest concoctions. There was almost a heat from the lavendar, and the honey was just the perfect compliment to it. With the creaminess of ice cream and the flavor of lavender, you can’t go wrong with this.

Have you ever had lavender ice cream? If so, where did you try it, and how did you like it? I’m crazy about lavender and have a hard time resisting it when I see it on a menu.

Thanks for reading, and let me know where your favorite place for homemade ice cream is. I travel the country to find delicious ice cream and report back to you!
